A Conversation About Stress on the Enrichment for the Real World Podcast

In April 2023, I was excited to be invited as a guest on Pet Harmony’s ‘Enrichment for the Real World’ podcast, with host Emily Strong, CDBC, SBA. The subject was of course the one closest to my heart and my expertise – the intricate relationship between stress and dog behavior. Emily and I enjoyed a down-to-earth conversation about:

  • The difference between eustress, tolerable stress, and toxic stress
  • The 3 components of successful behavior therapies
  • Why agency is critical for dealing with stress
  • Working through frustration for resiliency

You can catch the recording below or listen in on the Pet Harmony website.  Rather read the transcript? You can find that here!
