You should take it. It’s unlike other courses you’ve taken as there is no lecture material. Why not? Because it’s for students who already have a high level of knowledge and are looking for help with those particularly tough cases. Join us for an in-depth, long-term master course in behavior consulting – this is what you’ve been looking for!
The Advanced Consulting Practicum might be for you if you:
The Advanced Consulting Practicum is an opportunity to get personal case consulting from Kristina Spaulding, PhD, CAAB and from the other students in the course. What you get with this experience:
Due to the format and small size of this course, new students must apply to be accepted to the course. You do not need to pay unless you are accepted to the program.
Applicants must have existing knowledge of and experience in applied animal behavior using science-based, force-free, and humane techniques. They must also have consistent access to cases as the primary focus of this practicum is discussing active cases. The best-fit students will also meet the list of qualities outlined at the top of the page (under The Advanced Consulting Practicum might be for you if…)
Applicants will be asked to submit an updated resume as well as a cover letter explaining why they are a good candidate for the program and what they hope to gain from the experience. This is not a course designed for beginner behavior consultants. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in science as well hands-on experience. This can include academic training, but could also be education through books, seminars, or online courses (including Science Matters courses). Not sure if this is the right course for you?
